1. Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions

In order to realize a carbon-neutral society, Matsuya R&D will work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by designing products with an eye to carbon neutrality, improving energy efficiency, and increasing the use of renewable energy, in order to minimize the impact of climate change on our ecosystems.

2. Shift to a circular economy

In order to solve the problems of resource depletion and environmental destruction, Matsuya R&D will transform its business model, extend product life, increase recycling, procure recyclable raw materials, and maximize the recycling rate, in an effort to shift to a circular economy.

Located in the city of Ono in Fukui Prefecture, Matsuya R&D’s head office is surrounded by a rich natural environment.

In order to protect not only the local natural environment but also the global environment, we will reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption, which are considered to be the causes of climate change, both through our products and corporate activities, efficiently use resources such as water and mineral resources, and appropriately dispose of and reduce waste.

We are working to reduce our power consumption by turning off lights during lunch breaks, using power-saving settings for PCs, copiers, etc., setting air conditioners at the recommended temperature, and more.

Procuring materials free from harmful substances

We are working to use materials that are not harmful to human health or the global environment. Our medical device parts do not contain any specified hazardous substances that have been restricted from use in electrical and electronic equipment by the EU.
